APPLICATIONS are now being taken at CAFRE for working farriers who are looking to advance their skills and gain a recognised qualification.

CAFRE’s Farriery Upskilling Programme at Enniskillen Campus is accepting applications for its next intake, starting in January 2026.

The course is delivered part-time over two years and involves hands-on training at the on-site forge.

Theory sessions cover anatomy, shoeing, equine movement and more.
