AMONG the 2,500 people who took part in AWARE’s Christmas fund-raising run in the Phoenix Park last Saturday were Ken Mahon and Jessica Foster who togged out in memory of the latter’s much-missed sister Lucy.

As she is four months pregnant, Jessica decided to just take on the 5k not 10k challenge and to walk the distance. Her good friend, confidante and supporter Ken did likewise – however, he did say that they had to park so far from the start that they covered well over 10k by the finish!
