HORSE Sport Ireland has announced that the HSI Freelance Coach Insurance Policy is available for 2022. This tailored policy includes public liability and personal accident cover for freelance coaches.

The policy is available to any HSI Accredited Coaches Level 1 and above and to any British Horse Society (BHS) Accredited Coaches resident in Ireland. Suitable for any coaches who teach privately on a full or part-time basis, the cost is €360 and cover runs from the date of payment until December 31st, 2022.

Benefits to the policy include public liability cover in Ireland and the UK plus elsewhere in the EEA for temporary visits not exceeding 60 days. Personal accident benefits include worldwide cover, permanent total disablement, temporary partial disablement and more.

The liability cover relates to freelance coaching activities only and no other business activities. It does not cover any activities that could constitute as a riding school.
