THE Irish Equine Centre [IEC] launched its new website this week.

The new site aims to provide the IEC’s customers with accessible information, user-friendly dynamic layout and excellent search capabilities for the vast array of testing the IEC has to offer.

It highlights the global surveillance the IEC continues to promote and develop, and it also details new, additional testing offered across the different laboratories.

The increased functionality and new search features make the website simple to access services and testing on offer, defines details regarding sample submission, turnaround times and pricing.

The website’s increased searchability should appeal to the IEC’s varied customer demographic from veterinarians, large and small breeders of thoroughbreds and non-thoroughbreds, the agricultural sector as well as clearly itemising tests for the horse owner with horses in competition, livery or at home. Commercial clients have also been well catered for.

IEC chief executive Debbie Grey said: “We would like to thank and commend DMC Consultancy who developed the site and demonstrated a willingness to listen, engage and deliver that has been outstanding. Future updates will include the inclusion of all new research, promotions, industry newsletters, and news articles as the IEC strives to share knowledge and discoveries with their customer base and ensure they are forewarned of any disease outbreaks.

“The aim of the invigorated website is to demonstrate the IEC’s continued support and relevance to the industries it serves through its extensive range of testing and highlights the expertise and accessibility on offer to each client.”
