US Triple Crown hero American Pharoah notched up his first winner when Monarch Of Egypt made a successful debut over the minimum trip at Naas.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt was bred by Ran Jan Racing Inc, he made $750,000 in Keeneland in September, and he is out of the classic-placed Group 2 Blandford Stakes heroine Up (by Galileo).
His dam is a half-sister to Group 1 star and notably successful stallion Dutch Art (by Medicean).
