THE Association of Irish Racecourses is delighted to share some more wonderful sponsorship news from one of our member racecourses. Galway has announced a sponsorship deal with Bathshack, and here’s all you need to know.

Planning is well underway for the welcome return of Ireland’s largest horse racing festival, the Galway Races, which takes place from Monday July 25th to Sunday 31st July. This is one action packed week and this week the racecourse announced a new sponsor to their race week programme, Bathshack, Britain and Ireland’s top bathroom retailer.

The company has signed a two-year deal to sponsor the fourth race on Saturday July 30th. This is a €17,000 maiden for three-year-olds and up. Commenting on the new sponsorship, chief executive of Galway, Michael Moloney, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Bathshack onboard for the summer festival. They have a thriving online business, six showrooms here in Ireland, and are expanding further. The Galway Races presents great opportunities for sponsors to engage with a large audience, and we look forward to working with the team at Bathshack to make their sponsorship a great success”.

Expansion
