GORESBRIDGE Horse Sales is now accepting three-year-old store horse entries for its sale of point-to-pointers and horses in training on Thursday, April 23rd.

Since the return of thoroughbred sales to Goresbridge in 2024, the Co Kilkenny sales ring has produced a number of notable graduates who have gone on to perform with distinction on the track. Among those to emerge from the Goresbridge catalogue are Laravie, Judicial Difference, Aspurofthemoment, Cloonainra, Fat Faced Columbo and The Price Of Peace.

Managing director Ed Donohoe commented: “The support we have received from breeders, handlers and buyers has been extremely positive since we brought thoroughbred sales back to Goresbridge. It has been very satisfying to see so many graduates go on to win and perform well, and that success only strengthens confidence in the sale.

“We feel the timing of the April sale works very well for National Hunt stores. It provides vendors with another outlet at a practical point in the season, while also giving buyers the opportunity to source young horses alongside proven point-to-point performers. We believe it will be a positive addition that will help strengthen and broaden the catalogue.”
