THE judges’ committee of Dressage Ireland ran a restricted show last Thursday week at Killossery Lodge Stud where, as mentioned in today’s news pages, the emphasis was on judges’ training and examinations.
For those riders who kindly gave of their time however, there was a competitive side to the proceedings. The results were dominated by Co Westmeath’s Maeve Deverell who, riding a trio of home-bred 12-year-old Irish Sport Horses, topped the leaderboard in three of the four classes judged by Britain’s Claire Deitrick.
