ONE of the highlights of the recent Kildare North Leinster Area Irish Pony Society show at Tattersalls Ireland was the presentation of a lifetime achievement sash to Anne Stanley’s Hilltop Festy, who bowed out from the show ring at the age of 31.
Ridden at Tattersalls by Rachel Kennedy, the Connemara gelding by Ashfield Festy introduced numerous young partners to showing over the years, competing at the top venues of the RDS and Grantham.
He was also campaigned under ShowJumping Ireland rules and in riding club and pony club competitions.
