THE 2025 Tattersalls Ireland July Show was launched this week and has been extended to three days, taking place from July 25th to 27th.

The show is run in association with the Ward Union Hunt and Rolestown Show, and all proceeds are in aid of St Francis Hospice. Over the last number of years, approximately €250,000 has been donated to the charity.

The three-day show will feature a packed schedule of show jumping, showing together with a Defender Burghley Young Event Horse qualifier and a Treo Eile event class.

The show jumping programme is headlined by the sixth leg of the Plusvital Premier Grand Prix Series, with a prize fund of €20,000. The schedule also includes the Premier Performance National Grand Prix and the Mervue Equine Grand Prix.

The showing programme will also include Royal International Horse Show qualifiers, and leg six in the Treo Eile Showing Pathway Series.

Commenting at the launch of the Tattersalls Ireland July Show, Ronan Corrigan from Showjumping Ireland said: “This is one of the most established shows, and one that people love to attend. It is a beautiful facility, and the standard improves year on year. It provides a link for show jumping to the thoroughbred and sport horse world.

“We are indebted to our sponsors, whose support helps to elevate the show and increase competition. The July Show will be the deciding factor in who claims the final two places for the Dublin Horse Show.”

Stephen O’Connor, committee member, made reference to the altered schedule, saying: “We have altered the schedule slightly this year in order to take pressure off the rings. The schedule will have a fresher look to it. Almost €50,000 has been raised through sponsorship, and the schedule will be revealed over the coming days.

“The Tattersalls Ireland July Show is considered to be one of the major shows ahead of the Dublin Horse Show, which follows two weeks later.”

Kieran Ryan, Tattersalls Ireland July Show committee member, said: “The aim of this show has always been to provide one final opportunity in the main ring ahead of the RDS. We are appreciative of our sponsors whose support has helped create more opportunities for event horses. We are pleased to have experienced judges coming across from the UK.”
