DANDY Man was third on the list of European first crop sires of 2013, with 19 individual winners of 26 races and over €450,000 in prize money, and he has been a consistently successful stallion since then, with over 115 individual winners of over 300 races and €7 million in his first five seasons. He covered 139 mares in 2017 and, not surprisingly, his yearlings were in strong demand at last year’s sales, when nine of them brought six-figure prices, with a highest of €240,000 for a colt from Powerstown Stud at the Goffs Orby Sale.
