KILLOSSERY Lodge was a hive of activity last Saturday, as it played host to the penultimate round of the Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour. Each round went down to the wire, with valuable points being gained, ahead of the final at Mullingar Equestrian.

In the Coolquay Lodge-sponsored 1.35m division, 21 combinations went to post, with just five through to the jump-off; four delivered double clears. Harry Wood and BP Lion Man took the win, with the fastest double clear in 36.55 seconds. Owned by GBBS Int and bred by Kilmashogue Stud, the seven-year-old gelding is by Kannan and out of MHS Pembrook Lady. This combination took third place in the round at Flavours of Fingal and won at CoilÓg.
