DARRAGH Ryan and Ballygerald Blue Belle, took the win in Thursday’s 1.30m class at Cavan Equestrian Centre’s June Five-Day Summer Horse Show, when they were fastest of the 14 double clears in 32.35 seconds. Less that a second behind was Lt Michaeli Byrne and the seven-year-old LVS Galtee, in a time of 32.91.

Mackenzie Healy and Contemporary Rock also stayed within the 33-second mark, coming home in 32.92 for third. It was a good day for the Army Equitation school, with Lt Erin Crawford and Glenaboy River taking fourth, coming home in 35.28, ahead of Lt Raphael Lee and Kilrue, who clocked 36.55. Darragh Ryan returned to take sixth place with Flora Denfer, stopping the clock in 36.55.
