GORESBRIDGE Horse Sales will stage a select sale of point-to-pointers and National Hunt horses in training next Wednesday, December 3rd.

Over 20 horses were listed in the draft catalogue issued online this week and more are expected to be added on Monday.

Consignors already supporting the sale include Colin Bowe, Harley Dunne, Donnchadh and Eamonn Doyle, Caroline McCaldin, Aidan Fitzgerald and Philip Rothwell.

Last year’s corresponding sale saw Gavin Cromwell pick up Aspurofthemoment for €25,000. The horse won his next three starts on the track and has since added a fourth victory.

One of the top lots last year was Kocktail Bleu, selling for €54,000. He impressed in winning a Fontwell maiden hurdle earlier this month for trainer Chris Gordon.

Laravie (€38,000) has won four races for James Owen this year, and other racecourse winners to come out of the sale include Youlita (€46,000) and Hickeys Hill (€32,000).

Selling starts at 1pm.
