SEVERAL impressive winners from last weekend’s point-to-points are among the 16 horses initially entered for next Thursday’s Tattersalls Cheltenham Sale, which will take place after racing.

Vendors involved include Matthew Flynn O’Connor, James and Ellen Doyle, Warren Ewing, Ellmarie Holden, Benny Walsh, Tom Dreaper, John Staunton, Cormac Doyle, Stuart Crawford, Sam Curling, Pat Doyle and British handler Will Biddick.

Gordon Elliott is offering blacktype mare Harmonya Maker for sale on behalf of owner Tim O’Driscoll and she holds an entry in Friday’s Grade 1 mares’ chase.

Elliott bought the top two lots at this sale last year, both Romeo Coolio and Jalon D’oudairies fetching £420,000 each, and both of them are due to line up in next Wednesday’s Festival Bumper.

Sales horses will be stabled in the Riding for the Disabled yard and available for viewing from 11am on Wednesday and from 8.30am on Thursday.
