THE five-day Arqana October Yearling Sale starts on Monday and there are 752 colts and fillies catalogued.

Monday is devoted to Part 1, Tuesday and Wednesday are classified as Part 2, and the final two days are Part 3 of the sale.

The recent Prix Jean Romanet winner (and Prix de l’Opera runner-up) Grand Glory was an €18,000 purchase at this sale in 2017. Coincidentally, the James Fanshawe-trained Audarya, a multiple Group/Grade 1 winner and old rival to Grand Glory, was bought for €125,000 at the same sale. High-class miler Lord Glitters was a €25,000 purchase, while this year’s Molecomb Stakes winner Armor was sold here for €55,000 last year.
