WITH the sun shining, Donard Glen Equestrian Club were back out in force last Sunday, hosting their very popular August ride out in the scenic Wicklow hills.

Riders of all ages got to enjoy the local countryside at their own pace as they went out in allocated time slots.

Running over local farmland and forestry, the ride took approximately three hours to complete and featured optional fences for riders to choose from. Local children accompanied by their parents all enjoyed the day before school starts again!

The ride out, which is run in aid of local charities, is popular with riders from near and far.
