He was bred by Juergen Imm, he is trained by Peter Schiergen, and he is out of Neele (by Peintre Celebre), which makes him a half-brother to the middle-distance Group 1 scorer Nymphea (by Dylan Thomas).

  • Ainippe (by Captain Rio) won the Group 3 Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Brownstown Stakes over seven furlongs at Fairyhouse, a second pattern success for the Ger Lyons-trained three-year-old. She was bred by John Kennedy, she is out of Imitation (by Darshaan) and her dam is an unraced full-sister to the Group 2 scorer Darnay.

  • Fractional won the Group 3 Prix Messidor over a mile at Maisons-Laffitte, a fourth pattern victory for the Darley-bred and Andre Fabre-trained six-year-old. He is a gelded son of the Haras du Logis stallion Manduro (by Monsun), he is a half-brother to the dual pattern winning miler Needlecraft (by Mark Of Esteem) and his dam Sharp Point (by Royal Academy) is a stakes winning sprinter from the family of the dual Guineas hero Tirol (by Thatching).

  • Son Cesio notched up his third blacktype success when taking the Group 3 Prix de Ris-Orangis over six furlongs at Maisons-Laffitte. The Alex Pantall-trained son of Haras du Petit Tellier stallion Zafeen (by Zafonic) is owned and bred by Yves Borotra. He is out of the unraced Slitana (by Dansili) and he comes from the immediate family of the middle-distance Group 2 scorer Coroner (by Mtoto).

  • Golden Horn extended his unbeaten record to five when making most of the running to beat The Grey Gatsby in the Group 1 Coral-Eclipse (British Champions Series) over 10 furlongs at Sandown. Anthony Oppenheimer's homebred colt is a son of Kildangan Stud stallion Cape Cross (by Green Desert) and he is the second foal out of Fleche D'Or (by Dubai Millennium). He is a half-brother to the pattern placed stakes winner Eastern Belle (by Champs Elysees) and his dam's siblings include the Group 1 Coronation Stakes winner Rebecca Sharp (by Machiavellian) and the middle-distance blacktype scorers Mystic Knight (by Caerleon) and Hidden Hope (by Daylami).

  • Lady Tiana won the Group 2 bet365 Lancashire Oaks over a few yards short of 12 furlongs at Haydock, her fifth success from 15 starts and a second blacktype victory for the previously pattern-placed stakes winner. The Lucy Wadham-trained four-year-old was bred by Mr and Mrs A E Pakenham, and she is a daughter of the Derby hero and Lanwades Stud stallion Sir Percy (by Mark Of Esteem). She is the first foal out of Cartoon (by Danehill Dancer) who is a winning half-sister to the mile listed scorer Smirk (by Selkirk).

  • Waady won the Group 3 Coral Charge (registered as The Sprint Stakes) over the minimum trip at Sandown, a fifth win from seven starts for the John Gosden-trained three-year-old and his second blacktype success. He was bred by Knocklong House Stud, he is a first-crop son of the Morristown Lattin Stud stallion Approve (by Oasis Dream) and his dam Anne Bonney (by Jade Robbery) comes the immediate family of the Group 1 stars Aristotle (by Sadler's Wells), Ballingarry (by Sadler's Wells) and Starborough (by Soviet Star).

  • Baghadur won the Group 3 Prix de la Porte Maillot over seven furlongs at Longchamp, a third consecutive success for the Andre Fabre-trained three-year-old. He was bred by Ecurie Peregrine SAS, he represents the first crop of the Haras de Grandchamp stallion Zanzibari (by Smart Strike), and his stakes-placed dam Bargouzine (by Stravinsky) is a half-sister to the listed scorer Bayargal (by Bernstein). His grandam Bailonguera (by Southern Halo) was a Grade 2 winner in Argentina.

  • Anna Katharina (by Kallisto) won the Group 3 Almased-Cup (Hamburger Stuten-Preis) over 11 furlongs at Hamburg, a first pattern success for Gestut Rottgen's homebred three-year-old. She is trained by Markus Klug, she is out of Anna Desta (by Desert Style) and her dam is a half-sister to Aspectus (by Spectrum) who won a Group 2 and four Group 3s in Germany.
