LEADING first season sire Starman will stand for €40,000 at Tally-Ho Stud next season, up from €10,000 this year.
The top-class sprinter topped all categories in Europe this year, his current tally of 35 winners 14 clear of his nearest rival, while his earnings were almost double that of the runner-up.
The son of Dutch Art was responsible for five stakes winners, 11 blacktype horses, four group winners and eight group performers. It saw his second crop average €104,335 at the 2025 yearling sales, while his foals sold for up to €225,000 at Goffs this week.
The O’Callaghan family’s latest recruit, Maranoa Charlie, has been introduced at €20,000, matching the fee of Tally-Ho Stud stalwart Kodiac. Big Evs and King Of Steel, who welcome their first foals next year, will each command €15,000.
Good Guess, whose first foals averaged €43,478 at Goffs, remains at €12,500. Persian Force’s fee rises from €8,000 to €10,000 ahead of his first runners in 2026. His sire Mehmas heads the roster at an unchanged €70,000.
