Lanaken quota increased

THE quota of horses that will travel to the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken, Belgium, under the Irish studbook this September has been increased from five to seven in each age category. The numbers for 2018 have been amended based on representation by the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) to the FEI, to include new members of the WBFSH, as well as an analysis over the last five years to evaluate the degree to which the national federations fill their quotas every year.
