“IT was a red hot sale and we were absolutely delighted with it,” commented Ed Donohoe, following the inaugural Goresbridge Copper Beach Sale, which was held in brilliant sunshine at the Co Kilkenny auction house’s base on Monday.
Goresbridge saw strong trade last Thursday and Friday, particularly among the older horses, where the clearance rate was 82% and the average price just short of €7,500
Ponies festured on the first day of the Goresbridge May Sport Horse Performance Sale, where the top lot made €14,000 and the average price was €5,289
