CLASSIC star New Bay will commence stallion duties at Ballylinch Stud in 2017. His fee has been set at €20,000.

The Juddmonte-bred four-year-old is a son of leading international sire Dubawi and his stakes-winning dam, Cinnamon Bay, is a Zamindar half-sister to Group 2 scorer Bellamy Cay. His grandam, Trellis Bay, is a stakes-placed half-sister to Group 1 Irish Oaks heroine Wemyss Bight, dam of Group 1 star and successful sire Beat Hollow.

Wemyss Bight is a full-sister to Hope, and that mare is the dam of Group 1 star and leading international sire Oasis Dream and also of Zenda, the classic-winning dam of brilliant miler Kingman, whose first foals include a colt who made €320,000 at Goffs this week.

The Ballylinch Stud stallion roster also includes Beat Hollow, Dream Ahead, Intense Focus, Lawman, Lope De Vega, Make Believe, and the recently retired new addition Fascinating Rock.
