IT’S not that easy to enjoy a point-to-point when you have the worries of being secretary but Gill Browne had plenty of reasons to smile during the Carlow Farmers’ meeting at Borris House.
The fixture had attracted a big entry and the day was bright and sunny which helped boost crowd numbers. Added to that, Gill bred a winner on the day, Clondaw Rigger, who provided rider Shane Fitzgerald with the last leg of his treble and Michael Goff with his training double.
