AFTER a break of two years, all roads led to Lismore on Sunday for the West Waterford Foxhounds meeting. The Donnchadh Doyle-trained newcomer Monbeg Worldwide lit up the afternoon for many by posting an excellent stamina-laden performance to claim victory in the Tattersalls Ireland and the John Connery Family, Aglish four-year-old maiden.

On a wet afternoon that saw quite testing underfoot conditions, the physically-imposing Monbeg Worldwide (3/1 – 5/2) was bounced out in front by Rob James and the Monbeg Syndicate-owned bay took the nine runners along, until Mr Love went on at the fourth last of the 14 obstacles.
