SAVE the date! The ITBA has announced its upcoming Yearling Sales Preparation Workshop which will take place on Tuesday, August 8th at ITBA HQ, Greenhills, Kill, Kildare.

This workshop will cover all aspects of a good planning programme in advance of the upcoming yearling sales season. The morning session includes:

  • How to prepare a yearling for the sales
  • Veterinary matters to consider when selling a yearling
  • Nutrition for yearlings
  • The importance of correct farriery in youngstock

    • The afternoon session will comprise of a stud farm visit for a practical look at showing yearlings and conformation analysis.

    There will be an option to join online and watch the morning seminars. Early pre-registration is recommended, places for the stud farm visit are limited.
