TIPPERARY’S Thomas Ryan got onto the scoreboard in the five-star 1.60m Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Grand Prix at Oslo on Sunday, riding Jezebeau BC into eighth place.
A start list of 40 was whittled down to 11 for the jump-off, where six combinations jumped a second clear round. Ryan was among the fastest of the four-faulters in a time of 42.35. Sanne Thijssen (NED) on Cupcake Z won the class with a double clear in a jump-off time of 38.28, the rider’s first World Cup win.
