SHANE O’Meara took fourth place in the CSI3* 1.45m at Peelbergen when he delivered a clear with Harvard in a time of 65.96. He also picked up a runner-up spot in the CSIYH1* seven-year-old 1.35m when he partnered Nindino PS to a clear in 34.51.

On Friday, he went even better as he took the win in the three-star Table A 1.35m. Riding the Manton Grange Stables’ Irish, he delivered a clear in 65.37, crossing the line over a second faster than his closest rival.

Howley runner-up in Sentower

RICHARD Howley narrowly missed out on a four-star win at Sentower Park in Belgium last Thursday. In the four-star 1.50m class, he guided Chinook to one of 16 clear rounds in a time of 66.64 seconds, just beaten by Germany’s Hans Dieter Dreher and Vestmalle des Cotis. Dreher took the class when he galloped home in a time of 65.50. Jack Ryan took finished in the top 10 in Friday’s CSI4* 1.50m when he delivered a clear with BBS McGregor in 39.88 for eight place.
