IT was May 19th, 2011, the third day of her state visit to Ireland. Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by her husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, made an historic visit to the Irish National Stud at Tully. Hard to believe that it was a decade ago.

Reis Fleming, Hayley Sullivan, Harry Eustace, Catherine Caddel and Ronan Meagher, representing Australia, Britain, the USA, Canada and Ireland were picked from the 22-strong class of students that year to be presented to Her Majesty, the introductions being made on the day by Michael O’Hagan.
