BIBA is bred and owned by Julia Hodkin at Future Sport Horses. At two weeks of age Biba was in a paddock with her mother, plus another mare and her foal. It is believed that overnight the other mare trod on Biba whilst she was asleep on the ground.

The Vets put stitches in the wound (see image labelled: June 17th) but two days later these pulled out (June 19th). June 19th was the first day Biba was treated with Microcurrent therapy.

Biba was not revisited by the Vet, remained in the paddock, the wound was a left uncovered, and the ArcEquine was used to deliver the Microcurrent therapy. There was no other clinical intervention during her recovery.

Two months after the last photo (July 22nd) Biba went to British Futurity and finished top for the day with over 90 entered.
