THE ITBA Yearling Sales Preparation Workshop, funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine under the Equine Technical Support Scheme, will take place on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 at the Irish National Stud, with proceedings beginning at 10.15am.
The comprehensive workshop will cover all aspects of a good planning programme and is an essential event for breeders, consignors and industry professionals preparing for the 2025 Yearling Sales Season.

The afternoon will comprise of a yard visit for a practical look at showing yearlings and conformation analysis. Participants will have the opportunity to test their assessment skills and compare notes with Cathal Beale, CEO of the Irish National Stud.
The workshop will be FREE to attend and there will be an option to join online to watch the morning seminars. Early registration is recommended, as places for the in-person event are limited.

Lunch will be provided to those attending for the full day, please advise of any dietary requirements in advance. Parking will be available in the Irish National Stud tourism car park. Attendees should check in with the tourism reception, and they will be directed to the Osborne Centre.
