When it comes to hooves, there are two gems in my kit bag. I swear by Keratex hoof hardener. It’s brilliant at supporting my unshod broodmares feet in the wet Fermanagh winters. I also have a Hermes hoof pick, which a friend bought me and although clearly a wild price to pay at around €500, what a truly beautiful piece of art it is and a pleasure to use every day. Note it down on your list to Santa this year is all I’m saying.
