IN 2014 Goffs staged a new auction in Britain, their London Sale, which replaced their Ready To Run Sale for unraced two-year-olds at Kempton Park.

The new venture has three times proved extremely successful, with Jet Setting selling for £1,300,000 last June, so now Goffs are again repeating this auction, to be held in The Orangery at Kensington Palace in London, on the eve of Royal Ascot.

This sale has again been organised in association with Qipco.

There is no breeze-up section this year, but the catalogue offers 22 high-class horses in training, all of which have Royal Ascot engagements.

The starting time of the sale on Monday is 5pm and it is expected to finish at about 7pm. Anyone wishing to attend the sale must contact Goffs in advance. Bidding will be in sterling.

Blacktype winners among the horses in training include Legendary Lunch, Aim To Please and Absolute Blast. Among the breeding stock is a half-sister to Kingston Hill, with a covering by Kingman and a filly foal by Frankel at foot.
