SOME winners from this weekend’s point-to-points are expected to be added to the catalogue for next Thursday’s Goffs Aintree Sale which has already attracted 16 entries.

The initial entries include nine Irish-trained point-to-point winners and one British bumper winner. The sale will be held in the winners’ enclosure after the last race on the card, scheduled for 5.15pm.

Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent said: “This will be the sale’s eighth edition and during that short history it has produced numerous Grade 1 winners, which this season are headed by Sixmilebridge who was last seen winning a Grade 1 novice chase at Sandown.”
