AT the National Learning Network we provide a Level 4 Horsemanship course for people who want to get on to the employment ladder in the equine sector, but face a barrier to employment. This could be, for example, difficulties with mental health, living with a disability or having suffered an accident or illness.

Our students often come with negative past experiences of school but our specialised training is different! We have small class sizes and our students work at their own pace with as much or as little help as is needed. Students keep any social welfare payments they are entitled to while on our course. We work with Sligo Riding Centre to deliver our hands-on equine modules in a fantastic professional setting. We have wonderful instructors and a range of lovely horses to suit all abilities. We also provide training and fees for completion of the BHS Ride Safe exam. Contact us if you would like any further information.
