REGISTRATIONS are now open for free first aid training to support health and safety standards across Irish racing and breeding. Upcoming dates are February 10th at the Curragh Racecourse and February 17th at Fairyhouse Racecourse. Further dates will be added.

Fully funded by HRI Health & Safety in collaboration with the IHRB, ITBA, and Order Of Malta, the one-day course equips participants with practical, life-saving skills relevant to working in racing. Training covers concussion, CPR, defibrillator use, injury and bleeding management, and how to respond to incidents such as falls or kicks.

The course is certified by IHRB Senior Medical Officer Dr Jennifer Pugh and the Order of Malta. Certificates will be issued on completion. Places are limited.
