CLASSIC winner Flag of Honour will relocate to Ballycurragh Stud in Co Carlow for the 2023 breeding season, having stood at the National Stud in Newmarket since 2020.

Trained by Aidan O’Brien the seven-year-old son of Galileo broke his maiden over seven furlongs at two before going on to win four Group races, including the Group 1 St Leger at the Curragh.

Willie Murphy of Ballycurragh Stud said “We are delighted to have Flag of Honour joining our stallion roster, he will be a great option for Irish breeders as a Group winning two year old and Classic winning three year old. He is a superb physical with a great walk from a fantastic family. We have seen quite a few of his yearlings and they look very nice quality types.”
