THE Nature Friendly Farming Network is hosting a special free open day and farm walk at Shanaghan Hill Farm on Saturday, September 27 at 11am.

This special open day invites visitors to explore the beauty of the farm, learn about regenerative agriculture, meet the animals - including horses - have some farm-reared food, as well as learning about the work farmers are doing to enhance the environment.

There will also be discussion around how the farm co-grazes their horses and sheep in a mob grazing format. Visitors will also get to see the Shanaghan Hill horses and foals on the farm walk. 

Shanaghan Hill Farm is a medium-sized family farm located in the heart of County Down near the hamlet of Katesbridge, Northern Ireland. The farm has been in the family for generations and is a destination for foodies that want lamb that is produced sustainably and in harmony with nature. The family farm ethics and values are deep-rooted to the core of their business and the family passionately believes in producing wholesome natural food that has been produced with respect for nature.

Attendees on the day will have the opportunity to:
