Paddy Dunican was not putting his feet up following the end of the racing season at Kilbeggan. His attention quickly turned to the National Ploughing Championships which ran for three days recently near Stradbally, Co Laois and attracted record crowds of 281,000 over the three days. Paddy is the sponsorship coordinator for the event and he was on hand every day to meet and greet the VIPs attending. One of those he welcomed at Rathenska was An Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Paddy is pictured with him and the NPA chairman P.J. Lynam, who is also vice-chair of Kilbeggan.
