12.10 Castle Star Irish EBF Maiden 1m
Autumn Winter caught the eye in finishing fifth to Guildenstern on his debut at Leopardstown and he may be able to get off the mark now. Aidan O’Brien’s Galileo colt was tapped for toe early over the seven furlongs but he came home well in tough conditions to be beaten by just two and a half lengths by the useful winner. Seamie Heffernan is riding Chantilly, which suggests he is the first string for Ballydoyle, but there may not have been much in it and Killian Hennessy’s 5lb claim is no bad thing on this heavy ground.
