HUNTING has been part of the fabric of rural Ireland for generations. While the tradition remains strong, the hunting community itself is changing. Alongside families who have hunted for generations, we now see increasing numbers of people from livery yards, pony clubs and urban backgrounds becoming involved in hunting and the wider equestrian world.

For the Irish Masters of Foxhounds Association (IMFHA), that changing landscape presents both an opportunity and a responsibility: to protect the tradition we have inherited, while ensuring that it has a strong and sustainable future.
