CARAVAGGIO, Churchill and Highland Reel will join the powerful stallion roster at Coolmore Stud next year.

They were the three new names on the 2018 teamsheet issued by Coolmore on Monday. Carvaggio’s fee has been set at €35,000 but Coolmore is holding off a decision on the fees for the other two new recruits until after their Breeders’ Cup engagements next weekend.

Most of the other fees are very similar to those charged this year. No Nay Never, whose first crop were popular at the recent yearling sales, has seen his fee rise from €17,500 to €25,000. Like Caravaggio, he is a son of Scat Daddy.

Camelot’s fee has been clipped to €30,000 (from €35,000) and both War Command and Zoffany have seen their fees lessened by approximately one-third.

Turning 20 next year, Galileo remains in service. His fee is private though believed to be as much as €500,000. Fastnet Rock’s fee has also been unpublished in recent years but has been disclosed as €70,000 for 2018.

Absent from the list are Canford Cliffs, Most Improved and Power. Canford Cliffs stood in South Africa this summer.
