JEREMY Brummitt is heavily involved with Stradivarius’s owner Bjorn Nielsen, and was sporting the stallion’s branded merchandise at Fairyhouse. The Group 1 champion and National Stud-based first-season stallion has posted his first two winners, and one in particular, the Andrew Balding-trained Wykehurst Park, looks a nice prospect.

“Yeap, he’s off the mark, which is great – we can sit down and have a cup of tea if we want to talk about Strad!” laughed a clearly pleased Brummitt. “He’s had very few runners, and the winner at Yarmouth [Wykehurst Park] looks very promising. There has been some conjecture about a few stallions, including Stradivarius, not having had many winners yet, but then they’ve hardly had any runners.”
