IRISHMAN Sean Mulryan was a prominent owner in France some years ago and enjoyed plenty of success. He also raced some good horses in Ireland and his Grade 1 winners over jumps here included the Michael O’Brien trained duo Forget The Past and In Compliance, while in France he won at the top level with Cyrlight, Zaiyad, Mid Dancer, Bonbon Rose, Kiko, Polivolante and Or Noir De Samoza.

His first big flat race winner was Linda’s Lad (Sadler’s Well) who was trained by Andre Fabre to win the Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud as a two-year-old. Mulryan also raced another Group 1 winning juvenile in Thewayyouare. Originally at stud in France, Linda’s Lad moved to stand in England in 2017 and is based at Vauterhill Stud in Devon where his fee is just £1,000.
