IN the early days of Eoin Griffin’s training career, the Galway Festival was lucky for him and he has trained the winners of three of the feature races. Homebred Rua Lass landed the Dawn Milk Handicap Hurdle in 2001, Kevkat won the Guinness Handicap in 2006 and Admiral Barry won the Carlton.ie/Galway City (QR) Handicap in 2010. He is now hoping he can land the Plate next Wednesday to fulfil a lifelong dream.
