THE Les Bridge-trained Classique Legend has catapulted his sire Not A Single Doubt to the top of the general sires’ table after taking the majority share of Saturday’s A$15 million Everest prize pool. The grey five-year-old gelding blew his rivals away over Randwick’s 1,200 metres to post a two-and-a-half-length win over Godolphin’s Exceed And Excel horse Bivouac and the Loup De Vega gelding from South Australia, Gytrash.

It was the five-year-old’s fourth win from eight starts in what will be his last before transferring to the Hong Kong stables of Casper Fownes having raced in the colours of his sole owner Ben Ho.
