Alizee returns
a classy winner
A WINNER of the Group 1 Flight Stakes and Group 2 Tea Rose in the spring before running third in the 1000 Guineas, the James Cummings-trained Alizee returned a winner in Saturday’s Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes over 1,200 metres. Coasting up to the leaders, Glynn Schofield shook the Sepoy filly up over the final furlong to see her last by half a length over the Dream Ahead filly Shumookh and the Not a Single Doubt filly Torvill.
