HORSE Sport Ireland held the first round of the loose jumping competition for three and four-year-old fillies in Tubberbride Equestrian Centre on Wednesday, November 20th. With categories for both horses and ponies, it is open to all fillies registered with an approved DAFM studbook, WBFSH studbook for horses, and EU studbook for ponies. Tubberbride Equestrian Centre kicked off the first competition with over 30 competitors, judged by international riders Capt. Gerry Flynn and Thomas O’Brrien.

Thomas O’Brien stated: “This event is very well supported in Tubberbride. I think this is a super initiative by Horse Sport Ireland. I have judged similiar competitions in previous years and it is great to see breeders using better stallions and constantly improving their breeding programmes. I am looking forward to seeing what is to come with both the winning three and four-year-old fillies. They both showed great scope and technique over a fence.”
