THE West Midlands Region hosted the Connolly’s Red Mills Regional dressage qualifier on Sunday, July 27th at Roscrea Equestrian Centre. Conditions were dry, albeit a little humid, and the day unfolded in a relaxed and well-organised manner. As one of the final opportunities to qualify for the National Dressage Championships in Mullingar on August 17th, anticipation and competition levels were high.
This qualifier recorded the highest number of entries post-Covid, with competitors travelling from across the country. Clubs from outside the region included Cheval, Annaharvey, Cill Dara, Thomastown & District, Waterford, Castle Carrig, Burren, Warrington, and Nuenna Farm.
