ON Sunday, Glenamaddy’s Connaught Grand Prix Show played host to the pony divisions and, with the sun shining, all classes attracted big entries.

The Equillence U10 85cm Connaught league saw a win for Sophie Hawkshaw and Ice Ty De Noon, when they delivered a double clear in 39.22 seconds. Joscelyn Leonard was back in the ribbons for another week, claiming second with Cefngelli Sherry with a clear in 51.21. Last week’s winner, Cian Murtagh and Little Miss Lightning took third when they were fastest of the four-faulters in 71.92. Saoirse Leonard accounted for fourth when she had a pole down with Kyneton Snipe in 81.90.
