BRONN provided Willie Mullins with his 4,000th winner at Fairyhouse on Saturday although it was fellow Closutton resident Ashroe Diamond who produced the standout performance on the clock, confirming her place towards the head of the market for the Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham.
It was not all plain sailing for the short-price favourite as an awkward jump at the second last set her on the backfoot and with work to do to secure a clear passage.
